Mirror, Mirror

There was no fairy tale ending to this story.

Tuesday night football dished up quite the wicked instalment. Heskeys Tekkers took on the might of Woolfpack FC, one of last seasons contenders, who this year have already thrashed teams 11 & 9-0. It was a hard fought & physical game, & although Hekkers went off to work & were much improved from previous weeks, it was not to be, & Woolfpack FC took the game 7-0. I can hear those cry's of horror!

'Ridicule is nothing to be scared of..'

Obviously 7-0 doesn't sound that good, Grimm in fact, I grant you, but we plugged away the entire game, our communication & movement has improved, & we did craft some nice moves & chances that, once our ball control & confidence improves, we could have converted into goals, which ultimately is the aim. Hopefully as the weeks go by, & if we can squeeze in some extra training, we can bond further as a team & iron out some of the silly mistakes which we're prone to that tonight honestly probably lead to 2-3 of their goals.

Onwards & upwards for Hekkers, & we're still not bottom of the table!

So the scene on the bathroom mirror isn't the whole picture (well it is technically tonight - *blip* - but still). Another tragedy, we've been without central heating [& hot water] since the beginning of the week as the boiler packed up - knackered fan - & so we're togged up & surviving on the immersion. Oh & the leaks been keeping up it's end of the bargain by sprinkling all over the kitchen floor again. Grumpy, Dirty & Monkey are not Happy.

Dare I ask, what next!?
