Feel like I'm starting to get into this - really impressed with the blips I've seen from others and it's encouraging me to stick at it.

Dragged myself out to walk "the dog" just after 8am. My reluctance stemmed from the fine drizzle permeating the air and dampening my enthusiasm as well as my clothes. I say "the dog", it's not ours - looking after him and walking him while the owners are away. Can't complain, he's a quiet, friendly guy.

Nipped out to the local bakers to get a loaf for toast for morning breakfast, plus a couple of cakes as a treat for later in the morning.

Started the "working" day with a bit of time on my Tax Return. Managing to make a bit of progress each day, have another week to finish it all off and make the payment - yes, I made a profit this year! Celebrated with a custard slice fresh from the bakery this morning.

Middle of the day meditation before heading off to the hospital to visit Mum. Not easy going at the moment.

Left as it was beginning to get dark, which isn't all that late around here, and stopped off at the town centre for Dad to get some things for his tea. Took the opportunity of getting some shots of the car park opposite as the light was dimming - with and without passing cars. The sunset earlier was lovely but I was driving back from Newport at the time so no possibility there.

I'm beginning to allow myself to be inspired by almost anything as a possibility for a photo. Still a long way to go but the journey is getting much more interesting and varied now I've started doing this.
