Rubber necking.

At last, Katherine had her surgery today. She has, once again, sailed through, and tonight is up and about and cheerful! We are so relieved it is all over.

I stopped here and there on my way to Sheen on my bike through Richmond Park this morning. I was not sure which image to choose for my Blip. The plumage on this gosling is so beautiful, and it is fascinating watching the preening process. The detail is better when viewed in Large.
