snowdrops in the rain

Ventured out into the garden this morning determined to photograph the snowdrops and of course it was raining. Then went to Ilkley to meet a friend for lunch, walked past Betty's and took photos of The Fat Rascals in the window(Simon had another name for them). After lunch walked back and bought one!!! Did photograph it but decided this photo of the snowdrop was better !! There will be more Fat Rascals but once the snowdrops are gone they are gone for another year. Heard a lovely quote this morning on the radio 'Once winter is here SPRING is not far behind'. Made me feel good.
