Barry Island Old Peir

Long day today but time to explore Barry Island between light showers. Freezing winds but warm sun.

This is on the South East of the Island and worth a visit. It is fenced off but the is a whole in the fence that the local fisherman use to gain access.

The Pier/breakwater creates a harbor for boat but also has a railway track running along its length, at the shore end is an old control box cart on wheels that could in its day be wheeled out to the end to control a yacht club activities.

Must be old as the Track has GWR logos on it.
