Temptation/Resistance
That's Ciao Thyme Cafe's chocolate pear cake trifle with orange pear creme Anglais, mascarpone creme, and nut brittle.
I was there for a lunch meeting -- and keeping in mind that I'd be at my yoga class at 2:30, relaxing and stretching before the 1.5 hour class begins at 3, I chose the velvety carrot-ginger soup for lunch, served with a sour cream swirl and crispy strands of lightly fried carrot.
A delicious option -- and now I'm off to yoga!
