A bird with little brain

These pheasants are 'ten a penny' round here and so far this one has escaped the shoots! Their colours are fabulous but if they fly into your car they can cause untold damage. They often seem to have a death wish!!
Today saw 5 hares in a field - beautiful - so will have to go back armed with my camera to try and get a picture.
