Purple Haze
Heavy Skies and swirling clouds, a feeling of snow in the air. The river called today and I had to answer, she seemed to know that I needed the solace again a decision made, a door closed, but the gut feeling that I followed seems to me to be the right one.
The title of today's entry has nothing to do with the song its just a reflection on a shades of the blues I have been wrestling these past few days but purple isn't blue and maybe with the last week behind me the purples too will give way to the violets and then they too will slip away. I am fortunate to enjoy the support of my friend unerring confidence optimism and enthusiasm and as I have said in the past I do not have the words to thank them for that.
The shot is just a view of the clouds rolling over the river, I liked the shapes and textures and the purple hue just seemed to suit my mood again, with the snow forecast maybe tomorrow there will be white caps on the hills on the northern shore of our river but there again maybe not.... I hope you enjoy the shot today
