Daffodils

There’s nothing like a bunch of flowers to lift your spirits in January. Our boy loves flowers, and it’s so sweet to watch him carefully picking which ones he likes best at the shops. But even sweeter is watching his reactions to the pot of bulbs I bought last week - flowers that magically seem to appear over night! For each new head of petals that he spots pushing its way out, he will come and fetch us. His amazement and excitement are priceless.
