Some days are best forgotten

Woke up to what I thought was a nightmare.
I'm not that lucky.
Made for an emotional morning.
I love her too much to let things like this happen.
After some sorting out of emotions I shoveled snow to calm my insides
Cleared the drive way and walks in what was probably world record time
Some more sleeping and feeling awful until she got back from practice
Then she brought a smile to my face
Again and again
Nerve racking phone call with mother dearest
One of the harder things I've ever had to do
I should be able to sleep tonight knowing that no matter what happens I love her
