Wind.....

Strong wind today sweeping across the ranges, rustling the in the tree tops, catching the waves, flattening the tussocks like strands of hair, sand flying out to sea while light dances on the water, glistening and twinkling as the ripples carry them by.

The wind was already portrayed in the tussocks and ripples and sea spray beyond, the original is here but the processed image portrays the power and energy of the wind today - it's me just having some fun :)

I used a topaz effects plug-in to PS elements to create the wind.

Out and about with mum today, where was everyone? The mall was empty considering school is due to start, there was barely a sole at the supermarket and the beach - well, I can understand the beach being empty with all this wind. It felt strange being the only ones around, just mum and I doing what we do on a Thursday, a little shopping, lunch together, a drive and grocery shop - another great day, just being together :)
