snow day's end

today was a snow day, which meant no school for the fam. so we went sledding for the first time (with the son and wife). we live next to a park which has a pretty big hill. while it was fun going down, it was definitely a workout walking back up. after the third or fourth time, i was ready to call it a day. but for the sake of my son, i stayed. glad i did because towards the end we decided to do tandem sledding. even though the sled was small, we made it work and had a blast! i wasn't able to take any pictures while sledding, but was able to grab this shot as we headed home.
