A six-pack in time for Australia Day

This very large grey kangaroo and I were having a little intimate eye to eye out on Shipley Plateau this afternoon. There was nothing tentative or nervous on his part about our encounter. Quite right really.

Incredibly strong - just take a peak at that musculature. Is it any wonder they call it the boxing kangaroo?
