Frozen Fishing

The boys have had a successful day fishing on the hard water this morning! They reported multiple flags, and decided to keep these two for eating.

Colby's fish was a 17" Brook Trout, and BJ caught a 20" Brown Trout. I made BJ clean out the fish - because it's simply disgusting and I'm not a big fish fan. Our plan is to give the filets to a family who would enjoy them.

I love that these two have so much fun on the lake, both solid and liquid states. They leave early, stay for the day, play football, share laughs, talk, and catch fish. So cute to hear them re-tell their fishing tales, often taking turns telling the story.
