Amaryllis in bloom

Came into my office today and the amaryllis I had planted is in full bloom. Taken with my iPhone - left the camera at home but wanted to capture this moment of beauty.

So glad you liked my little sparrow from yesterday. He is a White-throated Sparrow, known by the bright yellow markings on his head and the white throat. He has a beautiful song. We also have the more common House Sparrow, much less colorful but beautiful in its own way.
