Scarborough RNLI deputy coxswain Wave Crookes is to run the full length of the Suez canal – 102 miles – in aid of the lifeboat’s Shannon appeal. But he won’t be on dry land, he will be running the distance aboard the container ship Nedlloyd Hudson during four trips up and down the canal.
