Beginning of the Line
Fujigaoka Station, where the Higashiyama line starts. Also where my work started this week, luckily getting Monday off for a relaxing three day weekend.
I've always seen photos of trains around cities like New York and Chicago. While trains can be such a mundane part of daily living in a city, when shots are composed right in those cities they just create such a powerful image. Trains are really the lifeline of the cities, carting people all over the place for whatever business they have on the day. Would that I could take photos like that. Nagoya is an entirely different beast, but we definitely do have trains here, and while my pictures are nowhere near those photos I'm talking about, I have many chances to practice. Here's one.
