Reed Bunting

I know it's a bird I have blipped before but I spent quite a few hours on and off taking pictures of these as they visited my garden.

The plan was to snap one that had a silver ring on the left leg. A friend of mine is qualified to trap birds in a mist net in her back garden and ring them. She has caught and put rings on quite a large number of reed buntings and lives not too far from me. So far no show with any carrying rings. The only birds so far that I have snapped were some starlings with rings.
