Gartloch Hospital

This is part of the original structure of Gartloch Hospital which is currently being developed as Gartloch Village - a rather smart housing development.

The towers can be seen from miles around - designed by Thomson who I believe was the son of the famous Alexander 'Greek' Thomson.

It closed as a hospital in 1996.

I came across a film about it which was fascinating but at times very disturbing.
