10am today before play

Despite the cold and gusting wind, we played 3 sets.     Helen and I lost the first 4-6; won the second 6-o and then at 5 all in the third, we drew away and took the game 7-5.    It was a competitive match but great fun.  The four of us have been playing every second Thursday for the last 7 years and we still enjoy it.  We then went for lunch and a natter, discussing everything from the state of the country to the fact tbat you can't buy a decent irish spud in the local supermarket.
