You love me anyway

Eddie got off to good start this morning, even before leaving the house. Somehow in the spinning excitement of having his harness put on he put his rear end in his water bowl, then swished his tail through, flicking water all over me, the floor and the walls. More rolling in stinky stuff and sloshing through mud, hence tonight's bath, then the bathroom needed a clean as well. Another dog walker at the park shouted hello to me, she knew that cavalier must be Eddie because he was so dirty! He's also settled himself down on the armchair, where I'd forgotten to move some clean ironed shirts, unfortunately that was before his bath, it's ok though he'd cleaned the worst of the mud off on the carpet first.
