Ancient......

.......though I may be ,this dignified motor car was around long before me!!
This is my friend Dave 's Alvis that was made in 1927 and is still going yet.
But now has to go to a new motor buff, so we spent the morning shunting it about and photographing it for a coming auction.
Where ,no doubt,Dave will shed a tear when the hammer goes down!!
