Water Wheel
This afternoon when it "warmed up to +12F (-10ºC) I made a dash for the outdoors to fill the most popular feeder with black sunflower seeds and to hand a spray of millet in the lilac tree. Then I quickly whipped out the camera and took a rather boring blip of Uncle Buddy who was happy to run (briefly) outside with me.
This view of the frozen water spilling into the water frozen in the collection barrel was the best I could do. Brrr...
I'd just noticed that the side of the barrel is split from top to bottom. When spring comes that water will pour out all over. I forgot to empty it before the hard frost arrived...
Right now it looks like a water wheel. And there are seeds hoarded along the edge.
