Flying out west

Back in Greenock today at the shiny Beacon Arts Centre. Great discussions, lunch and an unexpected pleasure - popped in on rehearsals for aerial dance classes, workshops and ultimately Commonwealth Games related activity and were treated to a short piece - Sleeper. You can see some of the development work here, by Brigid McCarthy & Jennifer Patterson. Those involved, today and/or in the wider development for Glasgow 2014, include All or Nothing (who, I've realised, can be often be found next door to my flat at Out of the Blue...), Iron Oxide and Tigerstyle.

Apart from kinda wanting a go & flying around the studio (which is one of my favourite rooms in the Beacon), it was hypnotic; add in the beautiful music and I was quite chilled by the end! Would love to see more of this and White Gold looks unmissable!
