Linda, Susan and Henry after the Burns Supper...

Tonight I was at the City of Glasgow College Burns Supper, and a great night it was.

In the picture is Henry McLeish, former First Minister for Scotland who was giving the Immortal Memory. On either side are Linda McTavish, former Principal at Anniesland College, and Susan Walsh, the Principal of the new Glasgow Clyde College following the merger of Anniesland, Cardonald and Langside Colleges.

I thought it appropriate to have a Blip with some lassies since I was giving the Toast to the Lassies.

The meal was extraordinary. Fine dining at its best, cooked and served by students under expert guidance from members of the hospitality staff.
