Eagle

I didn't notice the eagle in the tree across the river until it took off and headed up Buchanan Creek. I managed to get a number of good shots as it crossed the river and disappeared behind some pines, but it was not really all that close. I turned my attention to some buffleheads and hooded mergansers, not expecting to to see the bird any time soon. I didn't notice the bird;s return until it had gone past, but it was closer than before and I managed to get off a couple of shots.
