Assistance

I saw my first car accident since I’ve been living in Ecuador. Fortunately, no one was hurt and the damage was minimal. It sounded bad and brought everyone out from the surrounding stores and homes to see what had happen. I liked the responsiveness and I believe if the situation was called for – folks were ready to help. In fact, I’ve been finding that Ecuadorians are generally very helpful. They have assisted me more than once when I’ve been lost or apparently uncertain about something because of my limited Spanish. It’s a nice feeling to know someone is willing to help if needed.
