Biotap

Moving is a good time to sort through ones stuff and discard the things you no longer need. Came across three old backup tapes while unpacking bankers boxes into my new cubicle. Security best practice says the data should be destroyed before the tapes are discarded. The degausser was not readily available so I disassembled the cartridges planning to cut the leaders off (thus destroying the 'table of contents'). The spools of tape made an interesting pattern on my desk which I have captured here.
