Design is in the ability to create. Design is Art. Thus, people are art, which explains the psychological attachment or association to imperfection. Therefore, people are able to relate to it more easily because they sub-consciously view it as an abstract extension of themselves.

A design will never be perfect. It is impossible to achieve perfection in a design because it is judged on a subjective analysis. Theoretically, a design is "good" if it solves the known problems. The act of making a design "great" is the most time consuming part for passionate designers. They want it to be "perfect" from their perspective, so they are constantly deliberating different scenarios and concepts.

When you ask these designers to work together on one project, the possible scenarios and concepts are greatly increased to a point of less focus. This reduction in focus is visualized by a series of spinning loops at a center. An accepted design path is established once the complementary element from each loop matches at the center to find its focus. It is an process of pride.
