A silhouette in Tate Modern
I cannot say this as a portrait, because I don't know
anything about this person and she did not even
regonize me. There is not anything about her personality
captured here. But all life is not only portraits.
I felt in Tate Modern when watching John Baldessaari's
"Pure Beauty" exhibition that I am fooled. That the
people visiting the exhibition are targets
and the artist looks the spectators if they realize that this is similar thing
as in the fairytale "The emperor has no clothes". Perhaps
the others understood it better than me.
But there were some other permanent exhibitions that
I liked better.
