Tonight while mama was doing a few chores in the kitchen Miles was running around the house like only a toddler boy can, making lots of noise. All of the sudden it got silent. Panicked, I ran upstairs, yelling his name and couldn't find him, then ran back downstairs to hear him say, "I'm just right here!" Turns out he quietly picked out a book and curled up on the couch to read by himself. I love how much he 'reads' books. Because of his love for books we have added a new addition to our bedtime routine. After we do our thing and say goodnight We have started to let Miles choose one book to read by himself for 15 minutes on his bed. Tonight he wanted have Hurley on his bed so he could read to him. We joke that Miles has 'big feelings' because of his little tantrums and how easily he gets upset. But he also has big feelings in a good way. He's the sweetest, sweetest boy I know.
