Sidney

This is Sidney, the cockatoo, who hangs out with his human companion for a couple hours every Thursday afternoon in front of The Good Earth grocery store in Fairfax, CA.

Sidney really likes affection and loves being touched, so I've been able to pet him a bunch. As you can see, kids love him too.

I like how the two of them, by just being there, encourage everyone to slow down - or even stop - their busy days.
