Isla de Pedrosa (Pedrosa Isle)

Esta bonita zona perteneciente a la bahia de Santander se convirtió en Lazareto del Puerto de Santander en 1869 para la cuarentena de los marineros. En 1914 se convirtión en Sanatorio Marítimo Infantil Antituberculoso. En la actualidad, parte del recinto continúa en funcionamiento con actividad terapéutica. El lugar resulta algo siniestro, esa es la verdad y además está lleno de arañas y a mí no me gustan las arañas

This beautiful and quiet part of the Bay of Santander was made into an isolation hospital for the Port of Santander in 1869. In 1914 it was turned into the Children´s Anti-tuberculosis Maritime Hospital. Actually, part of the area maintains its therapeutic activity. The place is a little sinister, that's the truth and it is full of spiders and I do not like spiders!!!
