Orange sky in the morning...

..means, well there isn't a saying involving orange skies but mine was a day of ups and downs.  This clear sky soon turned to grey and heavy showers which was not great as I had planned to meet a friend at Kings Cross to accompany her to a London clinic.  The rain did stop and I was just about to set out for the tube station when... she called to say her appointment had been cancelled at short notice!  A minor irritation for for me but very upsetting for her as quite a lot of planning has to go into making the appointments.  I used the time to carry on with the downstairs loo 'renovation' - a project that I'm beginning to wish I hadn't started!
