Darwins View
'Freedom of thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of mens minds, which follows from the advance of science.'
Charles Robert Darwin (1809 -1882)
The photo is taken from the 'view' of Charles Darwins statue in the Natural History Museum.
As a bit of a science geek this was number one on my list of touristy things to be done this weekend. Despite the fact we spent about three hours in there still never got close to seeing everything its definetly worth the visit its got loads of amazing stuff.
This was followed by a stroll across Tower bridge and along the South Bank followed by some well deserved dinner, as we had walked for miles.
Time for a glass of wine and a rest for the feet!!
