Morning Cuppa
The Alarm activated at 6.15am, and after getting ready and a quick breakfast, it was on the road to be in Chepstow by 8am.
The local house clearance company (Serendipity) were there on the dot to clear the wife's deceased fathers house. I can only imagine it is quite emotional to see your parents lifetimes belongings being carted out. As they didn't need us there, they were quite happy for us to pop out for a couple of hours with the promise we'd bring them back coffee and biscuits!
We popped into The local Costa Coffee shop (we use them all - no advert here!) about 8.30am and chilled for a while before a walk around the town.
On returning about 10.30am it was 80% cleared and an hour later the house was bare. The last time I will go there after nearly 20 years. One more visit for the wife next Wednesday, the day of completion.
Just brings it home to you how things are always changing. It will happen to us all. One day my belongings will be shared out and the rest sold on. We come in with nothing and go out the same!
I could have taken a picture at the house but sometimes pictures aren't appropriate: Thus the picture of the cuppa. Refreshment. Remembered. Recycled. Renewed.
