Reflected Iris

As I was photographing the irises yesterday they opened in the warmth so I put them back outside in the cool. It rained over night and this morning they were sprinkled with raindrops. There was the drop I wanted right on the tip of a petal. Eventually it plopped off and it was then I noticed the greenfly all over the stems and leaves. Its now back outside. Hopefully the rain will wash the greenfly away. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. Greenfly here flickr
