The stand

It's really fall.

We went to pick up our new used car today. (Yahoo!) While they did the paperwork, I amused myself by taking pics of the seller's yard. The wind was blowing and it had rained all night so the colours were vibrant.

What you can't see is all of the birds flying all around -- grackles, robins, nuthatches, flocks of goldfinches and starlings. It was a good day to migrate!

A beautiful time of year. I want to catch the colour while I can.
