Knobby Knot Knormal Knee

Torn meniscus.

That was the first impression he had when he examined the knee I injured two weeks ago. Still some fluid in there, too.

Then, of course, despite there not being a spot of it on the x-rays, he said it could be arthritis. "You know, as you get older, blah, blah, blah..."

So the treatment plan we chose was to start with an injection today and give it three to four weeks to see if I get relief from the pain. If it doesn't help, he gave me his direct number which I am to call and tell him to order an MRI.

We didn't even discuss what we would do if it is a torn meniscus. Wish I did know so I wouldn't stress. I'm still in the lobby and I've started already.
