Tom Pudding

Taken on a cycle ride from home around the Castleford area. This is a footbridge over the River Aire. Just upstream is a confluence of the Aire and Calder Navigation. In the middle of the weir is an old Tom Pudding barge; the name given to the coal barges that were used to transport coal downstream.
