Freedom

I love it when I come home from work and can get changed into my home clothes. I wear this necklace at work quite a bit and I always feel more relaxed once it's been removed and is sitting by the sink in the bathroom.

During one of my lessons today we watched the Roots miniseries which is all about the slave trade. It was made in the 1970s but still has an impact on the children of today. They were shocked and appalled by what they saw and wanted to discuss what actually happened during this time period. It was encouraging and fascinating to hear their thoughts on the subject.
