Shy Snowdrop

DDW's January 2014 Challenge -Shy

The mild, wet weather has caused my snowdrops to be a little shy in blooming this year. There seem to be plenty of green shoots, but so far this is only one of two buds.

The light and composition were a bit poor, so I had a play with Snapseed to come up with this. I quite liked the pyramid shape formed by the stem with its bud, and the out of focus leaves behind.
