The journey begins

By the middle of August I will be as familar with the journey north to Glasgow as I became with the one to London in 2012.

And it's going to be every bit as exciting.

I am booked into the quiet carriage in both directions. This may come as a surprise to you, given my propensity fir making noise! However, listening to other people's music has never appealed so peace and quiet it is.

I do hope the weather improves for the morning because I'm on my bike at 7am.
