Give a girl the right shoes.....
I know I always say this but, yes yet another busy day from start to almost finish.
An early start, with many tasks accomplished at work, a fantastic presentation by my little Eco-Warriors to governors. The prize of the Green Flag draws ever closer.
After work, as Mr C was "working" from home today I had planned a 6 mile run at a local country park, however, in my hasty escape from the house this morning I omitted to pack some vital cold weather running essentials. Note to self...slow down.
But, my frustration soon left as I arrived at a specialist running shop to invest in some new trainers. I had my gait videoed, (again, note to self, wear supportive briefs if you plan to have your rear videoed while running, then watch it replay in slow motion) he made an informative, knowledgable assessment of my "odd" running style and fitted me with some new shoes. They didn't have my size so I have ordered two pairs to be collected next week (only after negotiating discount).
I then had a spot of retail therapy, a coffee and then a drive home in the dark and rain, to a lovely glass of red waiting for me (and left over meatballs!)
So my Blip today is of some spectacular shoes (shoe) made entirely of Lego. This, and a handbag and watch, are at the outlet centre in Swindon. This shoe is sponsored by a well known brand, Kurt G, for those who like their labels. I'm by no means an Imelda Marcos, but who doesn't like to look at a stylish shoe.
The image was taken with my iPhone 5s and processed through the app Colour Splash.
Thank goodness it's Friday!
