Multicoloured gloves

A trip to a huge garden centre today to buy a piece of trellis. We have a rose mixed up with a Clematis Montana growing up the house wall. They are both quite vigorous and broke the previous trellis. We explored the centre extensively. There were large empty areas where the Christmas displays had been cleared away, watched over by two huge Father Christmasses standing ready to be packed into crates until next year.
We couldn't find what we wanted so we went across country to another centre. Our route took us through one of the most expensive areas in the country outside London. We went through Oxshott and Cobham past houses that sell for multiple millions.
At the second garden centre we found what we needed. Now all that remains is for Normous to fix it.
Gardening gloves used to be grey. Look what has happened to them now!
