Attention to Detail

Isn't this just exquisite? And aside from it being a complete masterpiece, the fact that this beautiful piece of architecture was designed, built and sculpted in the early 1600s makes even more satisfying to admire. The attention to detail is sublime and the more I haze at it, the more I get lost in its meaning and relevance. I'm completely fascinated by historic buildings and the endless power they hold - and their significance. This small pattern, a collection and contrast of symbols and crests ravelled together, is quite frankly perfect - imagine the sheer amount of effort that must have gone into its completion.
