Storm Is Coming

A really calm night last night, fairly calm morning and then slowly the winds have been picking up to a gale force 7 or 8 and the rain is hammering down! Soaked in minutes tonight when you go outside.

Been a busy day at work in the Shetland Museum with our preschool club Mootie Moose. Mootie Moose has been speaking about Up Helly Aa today and we had our very own torch procession and pretend burning of a galley :) Great fun :)
Smoked fish for tea with a friend tonight, visit my sister and then the sofa calls for the rest of the night. A quiet weekend a head with work all weekend in the museum.

On my lunch and headed to the Knab for my sandwich. The winds were fairly starting to pick up here and the sea has been a lovely greenish colour, must be sands getting mixed up with the rough seas. Taken at the Knab, Lerwick.
