The tulip's progress

Today was dominated by contacting the consultant at the hospital to say my symptoms are back again. The giardia is fighting a rearguard action and has not been completely repelled! I had to go to Newcastle to pick up more tablets, because they are not available in ordinary pharmacies.

No real chance to blip either.

That means it's another in the tulip series. I wanted to show the detail in the stamens and style whilst keeping the petals soft. I used a focus stack of 6 images, but I need to be more patient and do it again when I'm not so tired.

This weekend has to be quiet and restful at home.
