One River - Hawea

I am joining other blippers in photographing one river. I have chosen the Hawea River, which commences at Lake Hawea in the north, and joins the Clutha River (at Albert Town), towards the south. It isn't a very long river, but has some interesting features.

This photo is of Lake Hawea, the camping ground on the left, with the Hawea mountains in the distance and Corner Peak the tall mountain on the right of the photo. I plan to take you on the trip downstream. I hope you enjoy my river journey as much as I will.
