Tickets!

Finally in possession of the Davis cup tickets for the USA vs GB games next weekend. Can't make the final day as flying to Philly but should make both Friday and Saturday. Mum is flying out Monday for 2.5 to watch and have a mini break as reward for working supplying whilst supposedly newly retired.

Home based day today. Team meeting call in the am just sat and listened again. Then met a coworker in a different segment for lunch as he offered to do some training in different things as a favour which was nice.

Then all afternoon spent finishing up the new company research.

Spent a couple of hours tonight down in la jolla for a beer at the new brew house with my English friend who I was a postdoc with and his wife and the German postdoc too.
